MONONA - Monroe seniors Kevin Frint and Ashley Hermanson will represent the Cheesemakers at the 2010 Badger Conference All-Star basketball games.
The event will be played at Monona Grove High School Sunday, starting with a 3-point shootout, dunk contest and combination shooting contest at 1 p.m. At 3:30 p.m., the girls team is in action as the Badger South takes on the Badger North.
Hermanson will be teammed up with other South affiliates, including Amber Davis (Milton), Beca Olson (Stoughton), Jessica Schmitz (Monona Grove), Niki Boos (Fort Atkinson), Bryn Anderson (Oregon), April Cook (Oregon), Jenna Kleitsch (Oregon), Angela Boushea (Monona Grove) and Danae Dallenbach (Stoughton).
The boys game will start at approximately 5:15 p.m.
Frint will join up with Christian Wabers (Edgewood), Connor Balchzewski (Edgewood), Skip Gerber (Stoughton), Tyler Kowalkowski (Stoughton), Tom Speth (Stoughton), Mitch Trewyn (Milton), Jackson Retzlaff (Monona Grove), Alex McCauley (Oregon) and Derek Stark (Fort Atkinson).
A $4 admission fee will be charged for all non-participants with the proceeds going to the local Coaches vs. Cancer organization.
