WHITEWATER - Brodhead-Juda junior Hunter Colden had a historic day as he reached the 100 career win milestone at the Whitewater duals on Saturday.
Colden at 170 pounds went 3-0 in the matches he wrestled and he posted three pins. Colden, a two-time state qualifier, wasn't the only Cardinal wrestler to have an impreesive performance. Colden was one of three wrestlers who went unbeaten and led the Cardinals to a 4-0 mark in the duals.
The other unbeaten wrestlers were freshman Brady Colden (145), who finished 4-0 with four pins, and senior Kramer Lewis (160), who went 3-0. Brodhead-Juda defeated Lakeside Lutheran, 52-17 and beat Waukesha South 46-30. The Cardinals edged Whitewater in the closest match 39-35 and rolled past Big Foot-Williams Bay 57-24.
Brodhead-Juda's Steven Voights (220) finished the duals 3-1 with three pins. Justin Sangermano (106) and Cody Knudtson (120) each finished 2-1.
