ARGYLE - The Argyle Orioles needed to refocus after letting a quick two-set lead slip away. In the end, Argyle, the Six Rivers East champion, held off sixth-seeded Fall River in the second round of the WIAA Division 4 volleyball playoffs in five sets, 25-7, 25-10, 24-26, 21-25, 15-11.

"We came out strong," Orioles coach Jen Butler said. "They started coming back fighting in the third game. But we got refocused and pulled it out in the end."

Ashley Bruehlman had 20 kills, 26 digs and eight aces to lead the third-seeded Orioles, who will now face second-seeded Burlington Catholic Central.

Also for Argyle, Jena Saalsaa had 20 kills and two blocks, Kristen Ostby had 47 assists and 22 digs and Dorrisa DeNure added a pair of blocks.
