NEW GLARUS - The Knights fell to rival Belleville 11-0 on Friday.
The Wildcats scored two runs in each of the second and third innings and put up a three-spot in the fifth. Belleville scored four more runs in the top of the seventh.
Throughout the game, the Wildcats took advantage of six New Glarus errors.
Mike Noldon had three hits for Belleville, including a double and a triple. Teammates Mason Boley and Tyler Argall each had two hits and Jared Rear hit a home run.
Carlin Moen had two of the Knights' four hits in the loss.
Nick Stuessy started for New Glarus, striking out four hitters in 6 1/3 innings. He allowed nine of the Wildcats' 11 hits. Kirbe French pitched the final 2/3 innings of relief. Ryan Hendrickson had eight strikeouts and just a walk on the hill for Belleville.
