ALBANY - The Education Foundation of the Albany Community is holding its seventh annual Golf Outing to raise funds for Albany Youth Programs. The golfing event is a major fundraiser for the Education Foundation, established in October 2007.
The best ball, scramble format golf outing will be held Saturday, Aug. 2 at Decatur Lake Country Club, Brodhead, with a shot-gun start at 11:30 a.m.
The cost of $70 per person or $280 per foursome will include lunch, 18 holes of golf, golf cart and a ticket to dinner at the Lions Club Steak Fry, Albany. There will also be hole prizes, a raffle and silent auction held during the golfing.
The organization is looking for businesses who are interested in a hole sponsorship for $75. Auction or other prizes can be donated by contacting Forrest Ross, Foundation Golf Outing chairman, at 608-862-3021.
