LAKE GENEVA - The Albany girls basketball team bounced back from two straight losses and rolled to a 36-23 win over Faith Christian Saturday.
Albany (5-3, 1-1 Six Rivers East) jumped out to a 15-12 halftime lead. The Comets, who led by four points entering the fourth quarter, blew the game open by outscoring Faith Christian 14-5 in the final period.
Albany juniors Sydney Bump and Hillary Best each scored nine points.
Hayli Peach and Courtney Pfeuti each scored eight points.
The Comets will play at Belmont Tuesday.
