9 players honored by Six Rivers East Conf.

MONROE - Nine area baseball players were recently named first team Six Rivers East All-Conference.

Pecatonica had three first team all-conference players including freshman Drew Schliem as an infielder, senior J.J. Hogan (outfielder) and Tanner Kleppe (utility).

Albany's Cody Schultz was named first team all-conference as a pitcher. Teammate Ty Mauerman was named first team at utility. Monticello had two players named first team - Lukas Kolasch (outfield) and junior Aaron Hefty (infield).

The other first team all-conference players include Argyle sophomore Alec Treuthardt (infielder) and Black Hawk junior Cory Rupnow (utility).

Barneveld had six first team selections led by sophomore Carson Carmody, the conference's player of the year.

Black Hawk had four honorable mention all-conference players including juniors Merik Meythaler, Logan Stietz, Mike Powers and senior Aaron Monson.

Pecatonica had three honorable mention players including seniors Matt Goldthorpe, Karson Feller and Mitch Steinhoff. Argyle sophomore Christopher Severson, senior Kevin Flannery and Albany junior Patrick Deegan were also named honorable mention.
