MONROE - A trio of Monroe High School volleyball players received honorable mention Badger South All-Conference accolades recently.
The three Cheesemakers given honorable mention were senior outside hitter Hannah Vetterli, junior middle hitter Alicia Kuester and sophomore middle hitter Sydney Mathiason.
The Monroe volleyball team finished the season 6-25 overall and 0-6 in the Badger South. Walworth Big Foot knocked off the Cheesemakers in a WIAA Division 2 regional quarterfinal match 25-11,
25-16, 25-17. Monroe has lost 18 straight Badger South Conference matches.
