Wilma V. Kloepping, 95, formerly of Orangeville, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at St. Clare Friedenshiem, Monroe, WI. She was born on November 28, 1925 in Shawville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Harry and Hazel (Kyler) Mains. Wilma graduated from Orangeville High School in 1943. Wilma married Delbert Kloepping on February 17, 1946 in Afolkey, IL. Wilma and Delbert farmed for 15 years on their family farm outside of Afolkey. She worked at Honeywell, and then at the Monroe Clinic for 20 plus years until retiring. Wilma loved reading, crocheting and spending time with her family.
Wilma is survived by her children- Rev. Michael Kloepping of Lebannon, IL, Vicki (Shan) Mac Adam of Freeport, IL, Pamela Rupnow of Monroe, WI, Kathy Seffrood of Monroe, WI, and Dennis (Barbara) Kloepping of Marshall, WI; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sister Merla (Harley) Shelton of Monroe, WI; sisters-in-law- Helen Wilson of Dakota, IL and Janet Kloepping of Freeport, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Hazel Mains, husband Delbert on October 22, 2015; son David Kloepping on July 31, 2014, son-in-law Gerald Seffrood, brothers- Elwyn Mains, Roger Mains, Larry Mains, sister Glee Mains, a brother in infancy, and great-granddaughter Shelby Patzwitz.
Funeral service will be at Noon on Monday, June 7, 2021 at the Cramer Leamon Funeral Home, Orangeville, IL.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Officiating will be Pastor Kevin Cernek.
Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport, IL.
