Sandra Kay (Kethcart) Hernandez, age 72; the Webster
dictionary defines amazing as causing astonishment, great wonder, or surprise,
from October 7, 1946 to January 21, 2019 that is what she was. She amazed
everyone by the things that she did or by things that she said. She had a way
of always just being there when you needed a friend. Plus, she had a way to
look on the brighter side of things.
Sandra will not be forgotten because the memories she has made with her family and friends will live on forever. She will be remembered as a mom, nana, sister, aunt, and friend. By many she will be remembered as the one to never gave up. If there was one, she would tell us it would be “to fight for the things you love and family is the best thing you have”.
Sandra is survived by her daughter, Rose (Matthew W. Cooper) Lara; grandchildren, Mercy A. (Michyl) Wilde, Israel Lara, Jr., Jade R. Lara, Matthew T. Cooper, Sophia J. Cooper, and William J. E. Cooper; and great-grandchild, Troy James Wilde.
A Celebration of Sandra’s Life will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 12 Noon-3PM at Leisure Lanes in Monroe. Memorials may be sent to the family at 1805 1st Ave. Monroe, WI 53566. Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home is assisting the family.
