Robert L. Nickols “Bob” age 82, of Albany passed away on September 30, 2021 at The Monroe Clinic Hospice Home. Bob was born in Aledo, IL to Hoyt and Ruth (Regenold) Nickols; he moved to Arkansas in 1946 and graduated from Leslie, Arkansas High School in 1957.

Bob worked many jobs throughout his life and retired from Varco Pruden, now known as Blue Scope, in Evansville, WI in 2004. He enjoyed bowling, darts, macramé, clearing trees, reading, playing cards, and animals.

Bob is survived by his spouse, Carol; 7 children, Cindy Galston, Jeff (Alesia) Nickols, John (Rachelle) Nickols, Jim Nickols, Jeremy (Lisa) Nickols, Taylor Nickols, and Jessie Nickols; siblings, Ross Chrisman, Betsy Ferguson, Byron (Carlene) Chrisman, Lee (Gayle) Nickols, Boots Hammon, Fran Oas, and Nancy (Bob) Young; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Roxie Totie and Anella Oldham; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services were held Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Albany Lion’s Club with Abe Runaas officiating. Burial followed at Hillcrest Cemetery in Albany, WI.
