Patricia A. Paulson, age 77, of Monroe passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025. She was born in New London, WI on March 3, 1947 to Richard and Isabella (Justinger) Locke. Pat married Richard Paulson on March 30, 1968 in Appleton, WI. They raised their daughters Amy and Lisa in Monticello.
She loved to care for her family. She was an avid reader and knitter. She was very independent; living alone and taking the taxi to dialysis 3 days a week. She will be remembered for her ability to make people feel loved and accepted.
She is survived by her daughters, Amy of Monticello, and Lisa (Austin) Wright of Madison; and her grandson, Samuel (Tracy) Elder of Oshkosh; her brother, Gary; many nieces and nephews; step-son, Michael (Diane) Paulson of Monroe; grand-pup, Ruby; and great-grandpuppies, Moo and Peter.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Richard; her parents; sister, Karen; brother, Paul; sisters-in-law, Sue Locke and Lois Eichelkraut, brother-in-law, George Eichelkraut; and step-son, Rick Paulson.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025 at 12:00 PM Noon at Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home with Pastor Mary Gafner officiating. A private family burial will be held at York Cemetery in Blanchardville.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family at: shgfuneralhome.net.
