Nancy Lee Barrett, age 82, of Monroe passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020 at the Monroe Clinic Hospital. She was born the daughter of Clarence and Helen (Pagel) Aebly on August 2, 1938 in Stephenson County. She was a graduate of Orangeville High School. Nancy was united in marriage to Del Barrett in July of 1985 in Montello, WI.

Nancy worked at Swiss Colony for many years. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed reading, music, traveling, and camping.

Nancy is survived by her fiancé, Walt Bandi; son, Shane Frenzel; daughters, Shelley (Bill) Golackson and Tammy (fiancé, Mark Foulker) Frenzel all of Monroe; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Victor (Hattie) Aebly of Freeport; and sister-in-law, Lois Aebly of Monroe.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Stan Aebly; and daughter-in-law, Donna Frenzel.
