Nancy J. Wilson, age 73 of rural Argyle, WI passed away Thursday, March 30, 3023 at SSM Health – Monroe in Monroe, WI. She was born November 2, 1949, in Rockford, IL the daughter of Robert and Betty (VanNest) Seeley and beloved stepfather Neil DeShaw. Nancy grew up in Rockford where she graduated from Rockford East High School in 1967. After high school she worked in the Rockford area until meeting her husband. She was united in marriage to Alton Wilson on August 26, 1972, in South Beloit, IL. Together they lived in Shopiere, WI where they resided for 4 years until settling in Beloit. In 1997, they moved to Argyle where they have resided since.
Nancy is survived by her husband Alton at home; her son: John (Carey) Wilson of Beloit, WI; two step-grandchildren: Felix Estrella and Victor Estrella; one sister: Faye (Curt Heintzman) Seeley of Cypress, CA; one brother-in-law: Don Wyeth; one niece, seven nephews and their children. She was preceded in death by her mother, father and stepfather; and one sister: Linda Wyeth.
Nancy enjoyed reading and was a very talented artist who loved painting and collecting teacups and bells. Some of her favorite memories came from traveling with her sister, mother, and son – always talking about her favorite trip to Hawaii. She loved to play games, especially going to the casino for an afternoon on the slot machines. Nancy cherished the time she spent with all of her family creating memories they will all remember forever.
