Myrna K. Trumble, age 85 of rural Blanchardville, WI passed away Monday, May 4, 2020 at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg, WI after suffering from a fall at Crestridge Memory Care. Myrna also suffered from Alzheimer’s Dementia and Parkinson’s Disease. She moved to Crestridge Memory Care in October 2017 after her husband’s death.

Myrna was born May 5, 1935 in Prairie du Sac, WI the daughter of Stanley and Dorothy (Turk) Finke. She graduated from New Glarus High School in New Glarus, Wi in 1953. She worked at a law office in Madison before getting married. Myrna was married to the love of her live, Marlyn C. Trumble on May 22, 1954 at Primrose Lutheran Church in rural Belleville, WI. Myrna and Marlyn lived on the Paulson Family Farm in Blanchard Township until 1976 when they moved to another farm in Moscow Township. They built a home by Blanchardville when they retired from farming. Myrna worked as a receptionist for an Orthodontic Clinic in Monroe, WI until she took a job as secretary for First National Bank of Blanchardville and later Woodford State Bank.

She was a member of Yellowstone Lutheran Church in rural Blanchardville where she taught Sunday School, was Junior Choir Director, and held offices in the WELCA over the years. While the kids were young, she was co-leader of the Up and Over 4-H club. Myrna enjoyed sewing and ceramics in her pastime. Maryln and Myrna were members of the Wisconsin Quarter Horse Racing Association in which their horses Savanah Whammy and Lucks Swinger each won Quarter Horse of the Year awards. Myrna was very active in the Red Hat Ladies and enjoyed their many outings. She especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren in all of their activities. She was the best babysitter a grandchild could have! Myrna cherished her time with her family and friends creating memories that will last forever.

Myrna is survived by her children: Kim (Lisa) Trumble of Darlington, WI, Mike Trumble of Browntown, WI, and Wendi (Tim) Hendrickison of Blanchardville; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren: Jami (Scott) Lundell of Dodgeville, WI the parents of Lexi, Laci, and Thomas Lundell, Jim (Amanda) Trumble of Brooklyn, WI the parents of Aliza Trumble, Brooke (Rob) Henderson of Evansville, WI, Marcy Trumble of Janesville, WI the mother of Sawyer, Bruce Trumble of Monroe, Michelle Trumble, Rachel (Jeremy) Meudt of Evansville the parents of Mckenna, Jon Hendrickson of Blanchardville, and Cole Trumble of Darlington; her sisters: Virginia Urness and Audrey (Ron) Huseth both of Verona, WI, and Roberta (Steve) Rounds of Westfield, IN, a brother: Roger (Barbara) Finke of Verona, her sister-in-law: Velda Thompson of Sun Prairie, WI, a brother-in-law: Roland Trumble of Blanchardville, WI; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Marlyn on July 13, 2017; an infant son at birth; two brother-in-laws: Norton Urness and Robert Thompson; and one sister-in-law: Norma Trumble.

Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic a private family funeral service will be held at the Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle, WI (801 Milwaukee St., Argyle) with Rev. Daniel L. Bohlman of Yellowstone Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Yellowstone Lutheran Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ericksonfuneralhome.com
