Mickey L. Klemm, age 50 of Browntown, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at SSM Health Hospital in Monroe. He was born on February 17, 1975 the son of Larry and Sheryl (Benson) Klemm. Mickey attended Orangeville High School where he met the love of his life, his high school sweetheart, Michelle Thruman, they were united in marriage on October 7, 2006.
Mickey’s love for farming began at an early age on the family farm in Winslow. His family later moved to Browntown, where he farmed alongside his father until taking over the family farm in 2012. Mickey had a passion for motorsports, enjoying snowmobiling, jet skiing, and 4-wheeling. He loved Ford trucks and liked to drive fast. Though not one for many words, Mickey showed his love by helping others.
Mickey is survived by his wife, Michelle; daughter, Brittany (Jason) Hurd; parents, Larry and Sheryl Klemm; parents-in-law, Pat and Roger Thruman; three grandchildren; and many extended relatives and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Barbara and Irvin Benson and Robert and Josephine Klemm; aunt, Kathy Benson; and grandfather-in-law, Jerry Abbott “Grandpa Jerry.”
A Celebration of Mickey’s Life and a Car Drive in his memory will be held at a later date. Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home is assisting the family. Condolences may be sent to the family at: shgfuneralhome.net.
