Maxine Rose Doyle, age 95 died Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. She was born on October 7, 1923 in Monroe, the daughter of Max and Rose (Ruegsegger) Voelkli. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1941 and then graduated from Spencerian Business College in Milwaukee. Maxine married Edward J. Doyle on May 6, 1944 in Milwaukee. She worked as Green County Clerk’s Office for many years. She was a member of Women of the Moose, VFW Auxiliary 2312, American Legion Auxiliary, she volunteered as a voting pole worker. She had many hobbies, she loved to dance, cook, sing and play euchre.

She is survived by 4 children: Michael Doyle; his children: Kelly (Scott Aegerter) Doyle, and Bryan (Ann) Doyle; his grandchildren: Braedon, Lyla, and Stella. Son, James (Kay) Doyle; their son: Patrick (Katie Sturdevant) Doyle; and their grandchildren, Lakeyn and Kashton. Son, John (Kathy) Doyle; their daughter: Jennifer (Matt) Wilhelms; and their grandchildren, Cameron and Jack. Daughter, Catherine (John) Baumann; their children: Alex Siedschlag, Kerry (Brian) Bizzigotti, Elizabeth (Dylan Boehme) Siedschlag; and their grandchild, Kai Boehme. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Joan Hoesly; brothers, James and Roger Voelkli.

Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. A visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given in Maxine’s name to the Friends of Pleasant View.
