ORANGEVILLE – Mark Andrew Davis, 59, of Orangeville, went to be with the Lord after a courageous battle of Acute Myeloid Leukemia, surrounded by his family, on Monday, February 17, 2020. He was born on November 25, 1960 to Roscoe and Marlene (Stites) Davis in Monroe, WI. Mark was a 1979 graduate of Orangeville High School. He worked at Star Manufacturing in Freeport for 23 years, and most recently at Ace Hardware in Monroe, WI. Mark proudly served his community on the Orangeville Fire Department for 28 years. He was a lifetime member of the Orangeville United Methodist Church. He was an avid sports fan always cheering for the Wisconsin Badger, Green Bay Packers, Chicago Cubs, but especially for his nieces and nephews. Mark would attend his nieces and nephews sporting events when he could, or he would listen to them on the radio, always rooting for the Orangeville Broncos, Monroe Cheesemakers, and the Black Hawk Warriors. Family was everything to Mark.

Mark is survived by his best friend, and the love of his life Mary Pat (Herbst) Richel of Orangeville, his father, Roscoe Davis of Orangeville, siblings; Brian (Rosealie) Davis of Harlingen, TX, Lisa (Todd) Flannery of Monroe, WI, Lisa Davis (sister-in-law) of Orangeville, IL, nieces and nephews; Brian Jr., Joe, Rachel, Casey, Rebecca, Jacob, great-nieces and nephews; Hailey, Gavin, Griffin, Lexi, Jaxsyn, Maxeen, Lylah, and Camdyn, Mary’s children; Ted (Amy) Richel, Kathleen (Ron) Rule, Sarah (Bill) Preuss, Craig (Jerrica) Richel, Mary’s grandchildren; Gunnar, Gavin, Greta, Theresa, Declan, and Hadley, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his brothers of the Orangeville Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his mother Marlene in 2018, and his brother Kevin in March of 2016.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the Orangeville United Methodist Church in Orangeville, IL.

A visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 PM on Friday, February 21, 2020, at the Orangeville United Methodist Church, and again from 10:00 AM until time of services on Saturday.

Pastor Siegfried Schwirblat will officiate the services.

A memorial has been established in his memory.
