Kimberly R. Pluss, age 64 of Monroe, died Thursday, November 23, 2023 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. She was born on December 4, 1958 in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Raymond and Dorothy (Schmidt) Spielmann. She graduated from Lena-Winslow High School in 1977. Kim married Randy Pluss on May 5, 1990 in Monroe. She worked at Advance Transformer for 17 years. She later started working in Human Resources for several different companies, The Swiss Colony, D.P. Concrete and most recently, Wisconsin Cheese Group, where she retired from in 2019. Kim enjoyed vacationing, gardening and decorating, but her biggest joy was her family and grandson, Landon.

     She is survived by her husband, Randy of Monroe, mother, Dorothy Spielmann of Lena; son, Justin (Shannon) Dunwiddie of Algonquin, IL; grandson, Landon; brother, Mark (Robin) Spielmann of Lena, IL and sister, Karla (Paul Domino) Heinz of Freeport, IL. She was preceded in death by her father, Ray.

     Memorial services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home, with Pastor Pat Pluss officiating. A visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Memorials may be given in Kim’s name to the Susan G. Coleman of Wisconsin Breast Cancer Research.
