Keith R. Friske, age 55 of Monroe, died Monday, April 19, 2021 at his home. He was born on June 29, 1965 in Monroe, the son of Ronald and Rena (Richardson) Friske; Keith’s father died when he was one year old, his mother married Richard “Dick” Young and together they raised their families. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1983 and attended Blackhawk Technical College’s Electrical program.

Keith married Tammy Bergum on April 30, 1992 in Maui, Hawaii. Keith was an electrician, and owned his own business, K & T Electric Company for 15 years, then he went to work for Green County Electric. He was a member of the Electrical Union Assoc.; he enjoyed going to the Casino, hunting and camping, where he was the fire marshal.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy of Monroe; mother, Rena Young of Monroe; siblings Peggy (Brian) Matzke, Mike (Kari) Young, Larry (Pam) Young, Tim (Kris) Young, Kim Friske, Kelli (Jeff) Bauman, Kevin (Malinda) Friske, Ann (Tim) Kreeger, Cory (Cindy) Young, Kristi (Jeff) Schleis; sister-in-law, Julie Young; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins; brother-in-law, Terry Bergum; sister-in-law, Linda (Tim) Williams. Keith and Tammy had a second family, The Monroe Clinic Family, headed up by Dr. Rana.

He was preceded in death by his fathers, grandparents, brother, Pete; mother and father-in-law, Chester and Eulalia “Corky” Bergum; sister-in-law, Janet Bergum; and nephew, Timothy Williams Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, April 24, 2021 at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Perger officiating. A visitation will be held Friday from 4 to 7 pm and Saturday from 9:30 till the time of service, all at the funeral home. The family has requested everyone wear casual attire.
