Judith McKibben passed away on July 16, 2020 comforted by family members at her side, at Agrace Hospice care in Janesville. At the time of her passing, Judy was 81 years old. Judith (Ditsworth) McKibben was born in Freeport, Illinois on April 13, 1939. She was the first child of Donald and Martha (Meyer) Ditsworth. Judy graduated from Freeport High School in 1957. Judy loved her family most of all, gardening, reading, crossword puzzles. Judy’s biggest obsession was the Hallmark channel.

Judy married Jack McKibben Jr. on July 9th, 1966. They had 2 daughters. Judy is survived by: Jodi (Brian) Furniss of Albany and Jackie (Carl) Lewis of Monroe. Judy had 2 sons from a previous marriage, Myrell (Anna) Boelk of VA and Mark (Barb) Boelk of Monroe. Judy had 6 grandchildren that she loved. Bauchman (Kim) Boelk of Monroe, Ashley Gille of Monroe, Derek Furniss of Albany, Tesla (Kevin) Duppler of Monroe, Marielle Boelk and Vincent Boelk of VA. 2 great grandchildren: Autumn Boelk of Madison and Jackson Furniss of Albany. Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Jack McKibben; parents Donald and Martha Ditsworth.

Judy was employed at Advance Transformer in Monroe for 30 years, until the plant closed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family.

A Special Thanks to Pleasant View Nursing Home for taking great care of Judy for the last year and a half, she loved all of you on the Lane unit; and to Agrace Hospice Care in Janesville, You made Judy’s last days on earth simply amazing, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established. Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Judy will be missed by so many, but most of all her family. We will always look for her in the stars.
