Jason L. Svendsen, age 36, of rural Argyle, died unexpectedly on Monday, June 11, 2018 at his home. Jason was born on September 4, 1981 in Monroe, the son of John and Evelyn (Wirth) Svendsen. He graduated from New Glarus High School in 2000 and attended MATC. He worked in the plumbing business and helped on the family farms. Jason loved going to tractor pulls, watching sports, and working on his cars.
He is survived by a daughter, Ashlyn Svendsen of Belleville; his father, John R. Svendsen of Argyle; his mother, Evelyn Svendsen of New Glarus; three brothers, Daniel of Fennimore, Scott of Monroe, and Justin (Macy) of Argyle; half brother, Christopher Fawcett of Montfort; half sister, Danielle Fawcett of Livington, WI; nieces, Brittany (Tyler), Rylee, Emily, Taylor, and Tiarra; nephews, Mason and Trevor; three great nephews; one great niece; and his step grandfather, Jerome Tollakson. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wilbert and Hilda Wirth; and paternal grandparents, Victor and Donna Svendsen and Lorraine Tollakson.
A celebration of Jason’s life will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at T-n-D’s Monticello House, 149 N Main Street, Monticello. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, is assisting the family.
