Jack Keith Siegenthaler, 93 of Argyle, WI, (Fayette Township) was born into eternal life on November 21, 2023. On March 6, 1930, he was born the first of six children to John Siegenthaler and Edith (Shellito) Siegenthaler. He passed away in the same house in which he was born. The “circle of his earthly life” was completed.

Born a farmer, died a farmer, with his strong faith in God he accepted the ups and downs of everyday happenings with dignity.

On May 2, 1964, he married Marilyn Smith – after 59 years of marriage, they were blessed with 5 sons, 3 daughters-in-law, 9 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 1 step-great-grandchild. These were the special people in his life.

Family gatherings, good food, and farmers' talk completed a perfect day. Sunday drives on a country road and a stop at Culver’s made a perfect week. Attending school or sports events or celebrating a family event or holiday were very important and he was always there. He was a life-long member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ in Darlington, WI, served as a council member, and sang in the adult church choir. His Swiss heritage was reflected in his belonging to the Monroe Swiss Singers, which he enjoyed for many years.

One of his favorite days was hosting the 1983 Lafayette County Dairy Breakfast on the family farm. Organizations that he belonged to were the Lafayette County Dairy Promotion, Darlington FFA Alumni, Milwaukee Milk Producers, 4-H Leader, and Superintendent of the sheep barn at the Lafayette County Fair.

Survivors include his wife Marilyn, sons: Gary, Greg (Kathi), Carl (Debbie), Dean (Jolena), and Eric; his nine grandchildren: Derek (Cassie), Dylan (Jena), Sara, Jenessa “Nessa” and Jetton, Benjamin and Sophie, Ross and Madelyn, three step-grandchildren: Eric (Solange), Lief, and Kiley Erlandson, three great-grandchildren: Ryker & Ada Siegenthaler and Paysen Siegenthaler, one step-great-grandchild: Charlotte Erlandson, Brother: Orvin (Ruth) Siegenthaler and sisters: Elizabeth “Libby” Hanson and Ruth (Jerry) Custis.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Edith; his in-laws Ben and Phyllis Smith; his brother Robert “Bob” Siegenthaler; his sister Pauline “Polly” McMannes; nephews: Kurt Siegenthaler, Tony Siegenthaler, Brian McMannes, and Alan McMannes; brothers-in-law: Donald Hanson and Charles McMannes; and sister-in-law Karen Siegenthaler.

The family would also like to thank Keith’s faithful caregiver, LuAnn Donahue of Sentinel Home Care, Kristen & Jess with Agrace Hospice Care, and Rev. Robert Wilkins and his wife Donna.

A funeral service will be held at the Immanuel United Church of Christ (339 E. Louisa St, Darlington) at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, with Rev. Robert Wilkins officiating.   A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at the Immanuel United Church of Christ from 4:00-8:00 PM.
