Helen M. Morgan, 75, of Clinton, IA, passed away on June 29th, 2024. She was born January 30th, 1949, to Christ and Anna Tschanz of rural Monroe. She was preceded in death by her parents, Christ and Anna Tschanz and her brother Joe Tschanz.

Helen was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and is survived by her husband, Douglas Morgan; daughters, Kristen (Adam) Anderson, Terri (Tom) Johnson, Kim Morgan, and Lynette (Jason) Brinkley; and many grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Henry Tschanz, Ruth Tschanz, sister-in-law, Evelyn Tschanz, and extended family, who will remember her fondly.

Helen was born in Monroe, Wisconsin and graduated from Monroe High School. She attended the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater before moving to Sterling, IL where she met and married her late husband, Stanley J. Wypasek Jr. (d. 2005). Together they had a daughter, Kristen. Years after the passing of her husband Stan, Helen met Doug and found love again. She remarried, happily retired, and moved to Iowa for the remaining years of her life.

Helen was an avid reader, gardener, and was a member of River Church and the YWCA in Clinton. In her retirement she enjoyed spending her winters in Fort Myers, Florida where she and Doug made several great friends over the years. She recently welcomed her youngest granddaughter, Briar Anderson, who she truly adored. She was best known for her innate ability to find joy, laughing at any joke - good or bad - and loved her two fur babies (cats), Huey and Harry.

Helen will be greatly missed, and her impact will be forever felt by her friends and family.

A celebration of life will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 11th at Eagle Point Park Lodge, 3923 N 3rd St, Clinton, IA.
