Geraldine Stauffacher (Adams), age 85 of Buffalo Grove, passed away on November 5, 2021. Born October 13, 1936 in Richland Center, Wisconsin to the late Vern and Marie Adams. Beloved wife of the late Gordon R. Stauffacher for 57 years. Loving mother of Kim Ellingson and Tracy Ann (Rob) Colantonio. Adored grandmother of Chase, Nate, Blake, Casey and Charlie. Cherished sister of Letty (late Fred) Studer and Gerald (Elizabeth) Adams and sister-in-law of Al (Joan) Stauffacher. Loving aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

A talented athlete throughout her life she graduated from Monroe High School in 1955 and attended The University of Wisconsin La Crosse to pursue a degree in Physical Education. After teaching for several years at Wheaton High School she later earned a Tennis Professional Certification and taught lessons and organized competitive leagues at Marriott Lincolnshire Tennis Club. Upon her retirement she enjoyed kayaking, gardening and supporting her grandson’s academic and athletic endeavors.

A memorial visitation will also be held Saturday, November 27th at 12 pm followed by a memorial service at 1 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 1329 31st Avenue, Monroe. Inurnment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe, WI.
