BRODHEAD — Gary A. Schupbach, age 75, of Brodhead, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at Woods Crossing Nursing Home, Brodhead, WI. He was born on September 15, 1942 in Monroe, WI, the son of Arnold and Gladys (Beutow) Schupbach. He married Pauline Kundert on December 29, 1962.

Gary graduated from Brodhead High School in 1961. He had farmed most of his life and also worked for Knight Mfg., Brodhead, from 1977 until retiring in 2007. His hobbies were antique tractors, woodworking, fishing, bowling, motorcycle riding, and picking corn in the fall. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Pauline; a son, David (Lindsey) Schupbach, Brodhead; three daughters, Teresa (Mike) Gerlach, Warren, IL, Jodi (Jim) Williams, Brodhead, Andrea (Timothy) Zach, Albany, WI; siblings, Ron (Dolores) Schupbach, Randy (Wendy) Schupbach, Jerry (Kim) Schupbach, all of Brodhead, Bonita Wilson, Milton, WI; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Peggy Land, a daughter-in-law, Sharon Schupbach, and a step-grandson, Darcy Larse.

A gathering of friends and relatives will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the D.L. Newcomer Funeral Home, Brodhead, WI. There will be no formal funeral. Online condolences may be made at www.dlnewcomerfuneralhome.com.
