Gary D. McGuire, age 75, of Browntown passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at the SSM Health Hospice Home.  He was born on September 28, 1949 the son of Timothy and Marian (Rothenbuehler) McGuire.  He graduated from Blackhawk High School in 1967.  On October 10, 1970 Gary married JoAnn Burkhalter in Monroe.  Gary was a service rider at Bocker Auto in Freeport for many years.  He enjoyed mowing his yard with his John Deere zero turn mower, going out to eat and trying new restaurants, and spending time with his grandson. 

Gary is survived by his wife, JoAnn of Monroe; children, Scott (Kristen) McGuire of Waukesha, and Cory (Cleo Renner) McGuire of Elkhorn; grandson, Aiden; siblings, Kathy Grossen of Browntown, Jim (Sue) McGuire of New Glarus, Diane (Dave) Tuescher of Clinton, IA, Keith (Linda) McGuire of Ankeny, IA, Brian (Sonja Talley) McGuire of Phoenix, AZ, and Colleen (Mark) Schmitz of Cudahy, WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Larry. 

A Celebration of Gary’s Life will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM.  Burial will be held at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery.  Condolences may be sent to the family at: shgfuneralhome.net.
