Gary Alan Klocke, age 86, of Orangeville passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at his home. He was born the son of Herman and Irene (Neibacher) Klocke on May 17, 1939 in Curtiss, WI. He was a graduate of Owen High School; he later earned his degree in finance from Roosevelt University. Gary was united in marriage to Carol Seidel on Aug 22, 1957 in Dorchester, WI.
Gary proudly served in the Army National Guard. He worked at Woolworth Company for several years; he was a later the Patient’s Account Manager at Freeport Memorial Hospital, until his retirement. He had also been an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Freeport for many years, serving as a Deacon and volunteering his time to help others in the community. He was also a farmer for many years and enjoyed working the land and caring for his livestock. Gary was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and a proud stock holder. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and attending their sporting events; he quickly became a proud Monroe Cheesemaker fan.
Gary is survived by his daughters, Sandra (Keith) Lang and Sue (Cathy Burbury) Klocke; daughter-in-law, Anna Klocke; grandchildren, Amanda Schwartz, Jason, Michael, and Gary (Holly) Lang, and Daniel and Ashley Klocke; many great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Deb Klocke; and brother-in-law, Norm Heintz.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carol; son, Thomas; siblings, Audrey Heintz and Bruce Klocke; and good friend, Joyce Root.
A visitation will be held at Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home from 3:00-6:00PM on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. A time of remembrance and storytelling will begin at 6:00PM.
Burial will take place on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 11:00AM at Pine Hill Cemetery in Curtiss, WI.
