Dustan J. Beutel, age 26 of Monroe, died unexpectedly Friday, June 29, 2018 at his home. He was born on October 2, 1991 in Monroe, the son of Joel Beutel and Melody (Hastings) Hermanson. He graduated from Monroe High School in 2010 and Blackhawk Technical College with a degree in Culinary Arts. He was a talented chef, and was the executive chef at the Monroe Country Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, music, playing the drums, and programming video games. He also volunteered his time every year for the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Banquet. Dustan enjoyed spending time with his many friends.
He is survived by his Mother, Melody (Don Alston) Hermanson of Monroe; Father, Joel (Amy) Beutel of Evansville; siblings: Raina Beutel of Cleveland, OH, Ciara Block of San Antonio, TX, Liam Hermanson and Carson Sangermano , both of Monroe; maternal grandmother, Joyce Hermanson of Monroe, paternal grandmother, Karen Lelle of Monroe; paternal step-grandfather, John (Pam) Lelle of Quenemo, KS; paternal great grandmother, Charlene Beutel of Monroe, and many aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Francis Hermanson; and paternal grandfather, Richard Beutel.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home.
