Dorothy M McNett, age 93 of Monroe, WI passed away Friday, May 10, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Janesville, WI, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 26, 1926 in Lafayette County, WI the daughter of Louis Larson and Edna Alm. Dorothy attended Argyle High School and later went on to Waldorf College in Forest City, IA. Dorothy was united in marriage to William T. McNett on April 28, 1948 at the Apple Grove Lutheran Church in rural Argyle, WI. Dorothy worked as a medical secretary for Beloit Hospital. She also worked at the Norseman Supper Club in Argyle and eventually Swiss Colony in Monroe, WI until her retirement.

Dorothy is survived by her 12 children: Diane (Phil) Mays, Greg (Cindy) McNett, Mark (Flaimide) McNett, Amy (Butch French) Gutzmer, Jeff (Vicki) McNett, Martha (Mike) Dunlavey, Linda (James) Johnsen, Paula (Tom) Mozoski, Bill (Kathy Allman) McNett, Dale (Karina) McNett, Mary (David Dittmer) Kuehl, and Steve (Gritly) McNett;  37 grandchildren; 70 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren; one brother: David (Sue) Larson; and one sister: Joanne Gouge. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bill on October 28, 1998; one infant son: James McNett; one brother: Raymond Larson; and two sisters: Elaine Larson and Ruth Mueller.

Dorothy was a lifelong member of the Apple Grove Lutheran Church in rural Argyle. She served as the WELCA president and attended national conventions through the church. She enjoyed praying, knitting, quilting, crosswords, putting jigsaw puzzles together, and playing solitaire. Dorothy will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.

A private family service will be held a later date. A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle (801 Milwaukee Street, Argyle). Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ericksonfuneralhome.com
