Barney McGowan, 79, Blanchardville, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019. A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2019 at Blanchard Hall, 204 South Main St., Blanchardville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 304 Meadow St., Blanchardville. Fr. Paul Eruva of the St. Isadore Parish will officiate. Veteran’s Honors will be provided by the Dobson-Johnson-Gallagher American Legion Post of Blanchardville at the Calvary Cemetery in Blanchardville. A funeral lunch will follow at Blanchard Hall. The Saether Funeral Home in Blanchardville is in charge of arrangements.
