Naples, FL — David Scott Fuller, passed away on Friday September 2nd, 2022 at Avow Hospice after a nine month courageous battle with cancer. Scott was born on December 15, 1947 in South Bend, IN. The only son of Ralph Fuller and Betty (Hatfield) Fuller. He graduated from St. Joseph’s High School Class of 1966 and continued his education attending Ray Vogue School of Design in Chicago, IL where he received Associates Degrees in Graphic Design and Photography. He married Lynn Ann Humbel on December 4, 1976 in Monroe, WI. He changed careers in 1975 and moved to Madison, WI to join his parents and business partners Sonny and Jackie Anderson at Industrial Finishing Inc. The firm changed names to Prefinished Millwork Corp. and moved to Middleton, WI in 1979. He became President of the corporation in 1981 after the sudden death of his father and remained in that position until the dissolution of the business in 2007. Scott & Lynn moved full time to Naples, FL in 2012. Scott was happy to give up his golf clubs in retirement to spend time in his art studio. He enjoyed traveling the world, particularly his beloved Italy. He was planning on visiting his favorite city of Venice in October. Scott loved spending time with his friends enjoying fine food and wine in the many first-class restaurants that Naples, FL has to offer. Scott is survived by his wife Lynn, his sister Pam Martinek and sister Sue Hansen Garrity (Bob). Brother in law Greg Humbel (Barb McLelland) sister- in- law Chris (Jesse) Waters. Brother- in- law Rich Hager (Shan), along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends and family. Preceded in death by parents Ralph and Betty, in laws Sam and Shan Humbel, sister, Sheri Fuller Griggel, brother in laws, Randy Hansen, Steve Griggel, and Jim Martinek, Sister- in- Law, Shan Humbel Hager, nephews, Jess Hager, Adam Griggel, and niece, Jenny Griggel. Services will take place on Saturday, November 12th with a visitation at 4:00pm, Service at 5:00pm, and a Reception to follow at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens (525 111th Ave. N. Naples, FL 34108), please RSVP to Lynn if you plan to attend the service. Additionally, the service will be livestreamed, a link to the livestream and slideshow will be provided at www.
