David C. Larson, age 67, of Janesville formerly of Albany, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Fair Oaks Rehabilitation in South Beloit, IL after a brief illness.  He was born the son of Cecil and Phyliss (Pittsley) Larson on August 23, 1954 in Viroqua, WI.  He was a 1972 graduate of Albany High School.

David worked at GM in Janesville for 33 years. He was an avid fisherman and liked to go deer hunting. He collected antique cars. He also enjoyed feeding the birds around his home.

David is survived by his mother, Phyliss of Albany; sisters, Tina (Harley) Berra of Brodhead and Lurene Larson of LaCrosse; brother-in-law, Mark Allen of Monroe; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; sister, Sara Larson-Allen; brother, Jamie (Tammy) Larson; and niece, Molly Eberle. 

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, April 25, 2022 at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Thickpenny officiating.  Burial will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery in Albany. 

A visitation will be held from on Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 1:00-3:00PM; continued visitation will take place on Monday from 10:00AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
