Darlyne J. Bernet, age 90 of Monroe, WI formerly of Argyle, WI passed away Friday, September 11, 2020 at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Monroe. She was born June 24, 1930 in Monroe, WI, the youngest of 10 siblings and daughter of Frank and Della (Dalton) Boeck. Darlyne was united in marriage to John W. Bernet on April 12, 1980 in Monroe. She lived in the Monroe and Argyle areas her entire life and farmed for many years, worked for Oaktron Industries, was a Certified Nurse’s Assistant where she worked for Pleasant View Nursing Home and worked for RBS Activewear up until this year.

Darlyne is survived by six children: Calvin (Cheryl) Ritschard of  Columbia City, IN, Dean (Jackie) Ritschard, of Monroe, WI, , Scott (Tammy) Ritschard, and Lorna Mick all of Argyle, Ann (Gerald) Thompson of Dodgeville, WI, and Keith (Tina) Ritschard of Argyle; one daughter-in-law: Dorothy Ritschard; 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law: Bonnie Boeck of Brodhead, WI.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband: John; first husband: Delbert Ritschard; son: Tom Ritschard; son-in-law: Dan Mick; three grandchildren: Nathan Mick, Cal Ritschard Jr. and Kristi Ritschard. four brothers: Freeman (Edna) Boeck, Clarence (Gladys) Boeck, Delbert Boeck and Frank (Alice) Boeck; five sisters: Lois (Paul) Milz, Thelma (Harold) Lehnherr, Florence (Wayne) Sweetwood, Irene (Ernie) Riesen and Eldora (Mike) Bregenzer.

Darlyne was a member of Argyle United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Women. Her hobbies were cooking, canning, sewing, crocheting, embroidering quilting, jigsaw and cross word puzzles.  She loved to bake and always had a new recipe.  She enjoyed reading, yard sale, traveling (especially to Kentucky and Indiana) and spending time with her family and friends. Darlyne cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and all of the memories they created together. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.

A private family funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Erickson Funeral Home (801 Milwaukee St., Argyle) with Rev. Angie Utter of Darlington United Methodist Church officiating. A public visitation will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 9:00AM-10:45AM at Erickson Funeral Home (801 Milwaukee St., Argyle).  Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in rural Argyle.
