Darlene V. Sulzer, age 84, of Monroe, died on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the Monroe Clinic Hospice Home. She was born on February 7, 1935, the daughter of Andrew and Ida (McCool) Legler.
Darlene and Andrew Sulzer Jr. were married in 1955 at St. John’s United Church of Christ. She was a Nurses Aid at Pleasant View Nursing Home for 20 years.
She is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Keith) Binder of Monticello, Kelly (Dennis) Miller of Brodhead; grandchildren: Stephanie (Bob Lisser) Denure of Monticello, Stacey (Abe) Schulz of Phoenix, AZ, Brock (Jennifer Wilde) Binder and Blaine (Jennifer) Binder both of Monroe; great-grandchildren, Emmett and Arabella Schulz and Charli Binder; sister, Lillian Kolb of Monroe.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Andrew Sulzer Jr.; sisters, Kathryn Flesher, Rose Smith, Leona Neuenschwander and Alice Speich; brothers, Robert and Andrew Legler.
Per Darlene’s wishes private graveside services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorials may be given in Darlene’s name to the Monroe Clinic Hospice Home.
