Darlene “Dolly” Weeden, age 63, of Monroe passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Willowick Memory Care in Beloit. She was born the daughter of Stanley and Kathryn (Trotter) Whitehead in Monroe. She was a 1975 graduate of Monroe High School, she also attended UW Whitewater. Dolly was united in marriage to Richard L. Weeden on June 4, 1977 at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Monroe.
Dolly was part-owner of Whitehead Specialties, owner of Weeden Properties, Screen Print Creations, and Stage Coach BP. She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ and Women of the Moose Chapter #594. Dolly enjoyed photography, hiking, traveling, and shopping. She also adored her dogs.
She is survived by her children, Brandi Camron, Chrissy (Kevin) Foley, Shawn (Kristin) Weeden; grandchildren, Conner, Colin, Addison, Brent and Brock; mother, Kathryn Friedrich; sisters, Debbie (Dennis) Stoneback, and Dee (Les) Rasmussen; brother-in-law, Rod (Anita Stoehr) Weeden; and her beloved dog, Molly.
She was predeceased by her father, Stanley; husband, Richard; and mother and father-in-law, Robert and Louise Weeden; brothers-in-law, Robert Jr., Randy, and Ronnie Weeden.
Funeral services will be held at 12PM NOON on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Hackman officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10AM until the time of service on Thursday, at the funeral home. Masks will be required.
