Darleen O. Wyttenbach, age 94, of Monroe, entered eternal life on Friday September 11, 2020 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. She was born April 19, 1926 in Blanchardville, the daughter of Maurice and Clara (Erickson) Hendrickson. She attended Blanchardville Schools. Darleen Hendrickson and John G. Wyttenbach were united in marriage on April 17, 1946 at the Blancharville Lutheran Church. Darleen was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Monroe WI.

Darleen enjoyed playing cards, tending to her bird feeders, flowers and spending time with family. She was a wonderful cook and baker, sharing cookies and candy with family and friends. Darleen loved preparing Christmas dinners for family and the traditional Bingo game with fun prizes.

She is survived by her children: John A. (Mary) Wyttenbach of Monroe, Christine (Paul) Hill of Venice FL, and Jim Wyttenbach of Friendship WI. Six grandchildren: Andrea (Jason) Plachetka, Allison Alexander, Kevin Hill, Brian (Katie) Hill, Amy (Kevin) Dye, and Jamie (Dr. James) Shindlebeck. Ten Great grandchildren: Easton, Tanith, Nadia, Eviana, Sean, Molly, Hayden, Macie, Liam and Emma.

Darleen was preceded in death by her husband John; her parents, two sisters – Marilyn (Robert) Berg- Jeanette (Donald) Wyttenbach, and one brother Wayne Hendrickson.

Private family graveside services will be held at the Graceland Cemetery in Blanchardville, at a later date. Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Memorials may be directed to Grace Lutheran Church in Monroe or Friends of Pleasant View Nursing Home.

Darleen’s family would like to extend a very heart-felt thank you to all CNA’s, RN’s and staff at Pleasant View Nursing Home for the compassionate care they provided Darleen during the past eight years.
