Colleen Mae Schulthess, age 86 of Ash Flat, Arkansas formerly of Monroe, WI passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 at White River Medical Center Hospital in Batesville, AR. She was born the daughter of Obert & Mavis (Nybroten) Vinje on July 23, 1935 in Blanchardville, WI.

In 1951 Colleen married Maurice C. Pederson, until his passing in 1974. Together they had 4 children. She was later united in marriage to Jakob Schulthess, Sr. in Sept. of 1975 at St. John's United Church of Christ in Monroe until his death in 2014.Colleen worked as a waitress at the Swiss Colony Inn for several years, later she worked at Monroe Cheese Corp. in Monticello until she retired.

Colleen is survived by her children, Christine (Bruce) Schoen of Ash Flat AR, Debra (Jeff) Yaun of Monticello, WI and Carolyn (David Kundert) Pederson of New Glarus, WI; step-children, Sybil (Doug) Traverso of CA, Ursula Meier of Juda and step-daughter-in-law, Candie Schulthess of CA; siblings, Mary (Paul) Schroeder of Orfordville, Phillip (Deb) Vinje of Janesville, Joan (Jerry) Christiansen of Beloit, Judy (Gordy) Hynes of Gays Mills; 5 grandchildren and spouses; 9 great-grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; 9 step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, daughter, Linda Pederson, stepson, Jakob Schulthess, Jr., sister, Gail Vinje; and step-son-in-law, John Meier.

Private Family Services will be held at Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home in Monroe, WI. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery. The service will be available to watch on live stream at https://webcasts.lifetributes.com/1169619 at 1:00PM on Friday, October 22, 2021.
