Clifford A. Bennett, age 71, of Monroe passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Monroe Health Services.  He was born on November 22, 1950 the son of Arthur Bennett and Yvonne Schwitz (Melvin) Shippy.  He graduated from Monroe High School.  Cliff served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.  He was a member of the American Legion and the Monroe Fire Department.  He enjoyed western movies, social events, auctions, and collecting a little bit of everything. Clifford is survived by his children, Regina (Dave) Horner of Monroe, Jeremy (Michelle) Bennett of Brodhead, and Taylor (Fiancée, Adam Fiorucci) Yaun of Monroe; brother Chucky Bennett of Monroe; 8 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Craig Bennett; four brothers, Jim, Les, Kenny, and Richard “Pud”.    

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home.  Burial will be on Wednesday, September 21,2022 at 11:00 AM at Greenwood Cemetery with Military Honors.  A luncheon will follow graveside services at the American Legion.
