Clark J. Lelle passed away on November 16, 2020 at his home in South Wayne. He was born on November 2, 1924 on the family farm in rural South Wayne to Nickolas M. and Matilda M. (Krupke) Lelle.
He attended Watson primary school and graduated from South Wayne High School in 1942. He was united in marriage to Ellen Janette McCauley on January 18,1947. She passed away on July 20,1955.
He married Doris Arlene Giacomazzi on March 10, 1959. She passed away on April 30,1988. He was a 96-year member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in South Wayne.
He was a farmer. In his retirement he worked for the USPS as a rural mail carrier and delivered vehicles for Monroe Truck Equipment.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, woodworking, traveling and attending his children’s' and grandchildren’s events and competitions.
Clark is survived by his children John, Mike, Larry, Mark and Mary; their spouses Pam, Terri, Cali, Dianne and Asia; and 14 grandchildren. He is further survived by nieces, Joyce Pavelec and Vicki Swanson and nephews, Richard Lelle, Mike Barker, Mike, Chuck and Dave Van Matre; son-in-law, Jim Burmeister, and daughter-in-law Deb Lelle,
He was preceded in death by his parents and wives; children Tom Lelle and Ellen Burmeister; sisters Marion Retzlaff and Helen Scherer and brother Harold Lelle.
Due to the current health crisis, no visitation or memorial services will be held at this time.
