Carl Eugene Liddicoat, age 82, of rural Monroe, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019 at his home. He was born the son of Royal and Juanita (Geil) Liddicoat on Setpember 27, 1936 in Monroe. Carl attended Buckskin Grade School and Orangeville High School. He was married to Norma Jean Ault on October 17, 1953, together they had five children; they divorced in 1967. He was later united in marriage to Frieda Mae Bidlingmaier on January 21, 1969 in Monroe.
He proudly served in the Army National Guard for two years. Carl farmed in rural Monroe nearly all his life. He also worked for Moorman’s Feed from 1975-1983, he delivered trucks for Monroe Truck Equipment, and was a messenger for Swiss Colony. Carl was a very active man having belonged to the Roller-Skating Club, Stateline Trailblazers Snowmobile Club, Motorcycle Club in Arizona, and the Monroe Senior Center where he played pool (billiards).
Carl is survived by his daughters, Donna (Michael) Mackesey of Monroe, Lois (Perry) Bond of Monroe, Joyce (Keith) Russell of Arlington, WA, and Karen (Darrell Hill) Nostrand of Oceanside, CA; 11 grandchildren; 15 greatgrandchildren; brother, Aldro (Marsha) Liddicoat of Lakeside, CA; step-brothers, LeRoy Frauchiger and Walter Frauchiger; and special friend, Jacqueline Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents; second wife, Frieda Liddicoat, first wife, Norma; son, Roger (Ardith) Liddicoat; grandchildren, Kim Liddicoat, Keith Russell, Jr., and Hannah Boegli.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30AM on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at SHRINER HAGER GOHKE Funeral Home with Pastor Mary Gafner officiating. A private family burial will be held at later date. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Per Carl’s wishes no plants or flowers, a memorial fund is being established in his name.
