Audrey J. Wyss, age 93 of Juda, died Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Monroe. Audrey was born on June 21, 1927 in Janesville, the daughter of Fred and Elsie (Phillipps) Ehlert. She graduated from Juda High School in 1945 and attended Groves Barnhardt Business School in Madison. Audrey worked at State Farm Insurance until her marriage to Max Wyss on February 1, 1947 at St. John’s United Church of Christ. Audrey and Max farmed in the Brodhead and Juda areas until moving into Juda in 1970. She was employed as a medical secretary at the Monroe Clinic for 20 years until retiring in 1990. Audrey attended the Juda Zion United Methodist Church and always loved attending the church cantatas and the Juda school musicals. She was an avid reader and enjoyed antiquing, sewing, tending to her flowers, decorating for Christmas, and traveling with Max. She was very proud of her grandchildren always looked forward to her weekly trips to Pizza Hut.

She is survived by her three children, Marcia (Richard) Wunschel, Rick M. (Ruth) Wyss, and Leanne (John) Severson, all of Monroe; grandchildren, Kandy Wunschel, Ronald Wunschel (Tammy Swanson), Richard (Sara) Wunschel, Tina (Tony) Aurit, Rick J. (Lucinda) Wyss, Ryan (Allison) Severson, Joshua (Jewel) Severson; and great grandchildren, Megan, Allison, Sydney, and Kaelie Wunschel, Becca Swanson, Quinton Carlson, Richard “Trey” and Trenton Wyss, Leorra, Amelia, and Teddy Severson, John Ryan Severson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Max, on May 10, 2006.

Private family funeral services will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, on Friday, January 8, 2021, with Rev. Kelly Jahn officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Juda.
