Arlene Schadt, born June 22, 1934 in Toronto, Canada, passed away September 6, 2020. She loved skiing, tennis, golf, and dog training.
She came from the city, but fell in love with Monroe and her little farm with her dogs and 39 Angora goats. She took care of her husband’s Aunt Mabel and they opened the antique store, Aunt Mabel’s Attic, next to Mabel’s home on 19th Avenue. They also purchased Puempel’s Tavern in New Glarus from Otto Puempel and refurbished the antiques and paintings.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Schadt; two brothers, Paul and Joe Lehman; two step sons, Steve and Jon Schadt; and two grandsons, Stephen and Shane Schadt.
There will be no memorials just wish her well on her journey to the rainbow bridge.
