MONROE — Yard waste drop off for City of Monroe residents will open on April 1 at the Streets Division, 1064 5th Ave. It will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. There will be no attendant on site.

The yard waste drop off rules include: Bags or boxes must be emptied onto the yard waste pile and then placed into the barrels; no garbage; no lumber; no metal; no furniture or items containing freon; no tires; and no plastic pots or containers.
