DARLINGTON — On Feb. 14, Woodford State Bank purchased the Greenwoods State Bank branch in Darlington, making it Woodford State Bank’s sixth banking location.

This branch is located at 15815 Wis. 81, Darlington. The other bank offices are located in Green and Lafayette counties, which include the main office in Monroe, along with branches in Argyle, Blanchardville, South Wayne, and New Glarus.  Woodford State Bank is a locally owned community bank, established in 1915.

“We are excited to offer another choice of a true, community bank to the Darlington market,” said President & CEO Scott DeNure. “We have an experienced team of employees hired for the new branch that will provide the type of professional and friendly service that our bank is known for.”

“We are thrilled to be a part of a strong community bank that is committed to the local communities they serve, said Branch Manager, Mandy Johnson, a Darlington native. “Woodford State Bank has a 100-year legacy of representing local families, farmers and businesses, and we are looking forward to bringing their strong line-up of services to the Darlington area.”
