ALBANY — An Albany woman was cited Dec. 5 after 12 horses got off her property, defecated on roads and trampled nearby lawns, according to the Albany Police Department.

Eowyn Brewer, 45, was cited for animal at large, animal feces and four counts of property damage by an animal.

The horses escaped from Brewer’s farm off Purintun Road and continued eastward into the village where Purintun Road turns into Mineral Street, according to police. The four damaged lawns were at residences along Mineral Street.

Albany police previously cited Brewer in April and July 2018 and again in October for allowing horses to run at large. State court records show the Green County Sheriff’s Office also issued animal nuisance citations against Brewer in October 2018 and again in September. She paid $263.50 fines for the two county citations.
