MONROE - A Monroe woman remains jailed following a stabbing that took place at about 6 p.m. Friday at a residence in the 800 block of 20th Avenue.
Sheryl A. Vincent, 44, was arrested for felony reckless injury, endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct.
According to Monroe Police Chief Fred Kelley, officers were dispatched to the residence following a report of a stabbing. An initial investigation revealed a 52-year-old man had been stabbed in the side of the chest with about a 4-inch kitchen knife during a domestic dispute.
The victim had serious injuries and was taken to Monroe Clinic by Green County Emergency Medical Services. He was later transported to the University of Wisconsin Hospital by Med-Flight.
