On Oct. 1, 2024, the Wisconsin Newspaper Association (WNA) officially assumed the management responsibilities for the Wisconsin Community Papers (WCP) organization.

The partnership agreement between the WCP and the WNA includes associate business membership in the WNA for all WCP members. Visit the WNA website and click on membership to learn more about the benefits that newspapers are entitled to as associate business members.

The WNA is updating the WCP member directory; and beginning the process of working with each publication to upload newspaper pages to the WNA Archive of Wisconsin Newspapers.

Archive of Wisconsin Newspapers 

At its annual meeting on Oct. 17, the WCP board of directors voted to require that all WCP members upload each edition of its newspaper to the WNA newspaper archive. 

The archive will be used for advertising tear sheeting and serves as a historical repository for all Wisconsin newspapers.

Customized Newspaper Advertising 

WNA advertising placement service Customized Newspaper Advertising (CNA) will now serve as the advertising placement agency for the WCP.
