MONROE - The Wisconsin Alliance for Retired Americans will hold a community forum at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15 at Behring Senior Center, 1113 10th St.
The forum's focus will be to discuss what Congress is considering to cut from Social Security and Medicare. Items that will be discussed include:

• How changing the "Chained CPI" formula for adjusting cost of living increases will be a cut to Social Security benefits.
• What other cuts in Congress are being considered to Social Security and Medicare.
• Does Social Security contribute to the federal debt?
• What the impact of repealing the Affordable Health Care would have on Medicare.
