GREEN COUNTY — The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has announced that Wisconsin 11 between Wis. 81 and Hiltbrand Lane in Green County will have sections of the inside lanes closed in each direction beginning Sept. 4 for about 30 days to construct temporary traffic crossovers.

Wisconsin 11 traffic will be maintained using lane closures and flagging operations. Motorists should reduce speeds in the work zone. 

Additionally, the Badger State Trail will be closed and detoured when the ramp crossover is constructed in the area.

The traffic control crossover work will include culvert installation, median grading and asphaltic paving. The crossovers are required prior to the Wis. 11 mainline and interchange ramps (Wis. 81, Wis. 69 and Wis. 59) construction in 2019, which will resurface 11 miles of highway between Hiltbrand Lane and Brodhead.
